Multi-day Walks

Goode Walks can plan you a longer walking experience
taking you further

Make the most of time in the great outdoors – by staying out for multi-day trips with Goode Walks.

Time walking outdoors is time well spent – so it follows that the longer you spend out there, the better it will be. Goode Walks can help you achieve that by leading guided multi-day walks for groups in East Anglia, the South East of England, and elsewhere across the UK.

Close to owner Julian Goode’s home base in Essex there are multiple long-distance paths worth following on holidays or extended walking trips: such as the 82-mile Essex Way, the Saffron Trail from Southend to Saffron Walden, or the St Peter’s Way out to the ancient chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall at Bradwell on Sea.

There are too many to mention running criss-cross over the wider area… basically anywhere you want to walk, there’s an established long-distance route worth walking.

You decide roughly where you want to go, Goode Walks can:

Multi-day with multiple opportunities

We don’t offer an accommodation booking service at present, but we will soon be offering multi-night supervised camping trips. So if you are interested, please drop us a line to check whether we are able to help you at this stage. However, there are lots of available accommodation options in most areas, and we’ll be happy to help point you in the right direction during the requirements and planning process.

Depending on your preferences and budget, you should be able to find everything from well-appointed B&Bs to country pubs and inns, campsites with different levels of facilities, and even hostels in some areas – as well as hotels in larger villages and towns. We’ll liaise with you and try to plan the route so that each day ends somewhere with accommodation options to suit your needs.

… Anywhere you want to walk, there’s an established long-distance route worth walking

It’s 82 miles from Epping Station to Harwich Old Lighthouse… and you can do as much or as little as you want. There are good starting and finishing points for public transport links on various linear sections along the route – and we’d help you find the right bits that we know you’d enjoy walking the most.
